The Access Board of the federal government is the
primary source for Americans with Disabilities Act information. This site enables
you to get copies of and download important technical information, such as the ADA
Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG), and provides information on forthcoming updates in
areas such as outdoor recreation, play areas, children's facilities, etc. A valuable
and excellent site. | |

Page is the starting point for all kinds of technical and legal information.

North Carolina State University has a site offering accessible product evaluations,
studies and discussion of Universal Design Principles. | |
| Access-Able is an excellent site offering
practical information on accessible transportation, lodging , etc, as well as excellent
travel links. |
| WebAble! is an interesting site of
the Yuri Rubinsky Insight Foundation, which has a web directory of disability related
Internet resources. Their mission is R&D to ensure access to advanced
information systems. | |
| Ageless Design is a site operated by an
architectural gerontologist, with tips for making a safer home for those with disabilities
associated with aging. | |
Thomas W. Schmokel's
"Expert List", an excellent list of accessibility resources and links. | |
Washington's State Building Code Council (SBCC) has an
excellent set of links to model code,
building associations, and governmental sites. | |
HUD's Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity (FEHO) Department has
information on the Fair Housing Act and
Accessibility. |

Architects, a valuable resource for both Architects and the public looking for
professional services. |
