Mr. Safranek joined E&A with an extensive architecture background, with superior expertise in Building Codes, ADA, Specifications, and technical aspects of architecture. Most recently he has been applying these skills as Principal of his own architectural consulting firm, JMS Group.
Prior to that, he was an Associate Principal at Callison an 800 person firm. As Senior Architect and member of the Technical Resources Studio (TRS),he provided Quality Assurance reviews, building code assistance, accessibility compliance assistance, technical aid, and mentoring to project teams throughout the firm, for projects ranging from individual tenant improvements up to complex 1,000,000+ SF, mixed-use, multi-block high-rise projects. He was senior architect for the Schnitzer West project, The Bravern Phase II, in Bellevue, WA, andthe Vulcan Real Estate project, The Martin, in Seattle, WA
His architectural experience includes large health care renovation / expansion projects for firms in Seattle and Memphis including: Anshen + Allen, Mahlum Architects, JMS Group, and The Pickering Firm, Jung Brannen (formerly JMGR), and Askew Nixon Ferguson Architects (ANFA).
